What to expect from Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy

STEP 1: The Free Initial Consultation
(approx. 45 mins)
This is our 'get to know you' session. There is no hypnosis in this first meeting.

The 'Why': We'll discuss what you'd like help with and what your 'best version of life' looks like.

The Science: I'll explain how the brain works, why we suffer from things like anxiety or low mood, and exactly how hypnotherapy helps you take back control.

The Plan: We'll decide together if this is the right approach for you.
STEP 2: The Main Sessions
(approx. 50 mins weekly)
Each subsequent session is divided into distinct parts to maximise your progress:

Positive Reflection: We start by discussing what has been going well. This trains your brain to look for the 'good' and builds the momentum needed for change.

The Solution-Focused Work: We use specific techniques to help you visualise your goals and the small steps needed to reach them.

Hypnosis (The Trance): You'll settle into a relaxed position for the final 20-25 minutes. Using guided imagery and relaxation, i'll help your 'intellectual mind' and 'subconscious mind' get on the same page, cementing the positive changes we discussed.
STEP 3: Support Between Sessions
You aren't on your own between appointments! We provide a free relaxation recording for you to listen to at home. This helps to reinforce our work and ensures your stress levels stay low throughout the week.
